Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the US and Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She is an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation occasionally. She started working for ESPN in the year 2016. The child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been since when she was nine years old. The ability to speak two languages has helped her get her first job at Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her next assignment was reporter for sports at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009, she moved away from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. Reporting on stories on drugs and immigration issues across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she worked as an anchor for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 at 5pm, then as a reporter for news with a news anchor in English for 9 pm, after which she became a news anchor until 10pm, before returning on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Also, she was a substitute for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's Dallas-affiliate station. She was also given more responsibility. She was the producer of Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She worked as anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She also played the role for Primer Impacto on UniMas Network, and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta's parents come from Veracruz Mexico. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November the 22nd of November, 1985. There is an older sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and moved to Miami. Her parents divorced soon after and in 1995 her mother remarried a naval architect known as Fabio Fajardo who died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. The couple stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer in which she was offered the opportunity of a job. Antonietta still a senior at high school and was clear about the career she wanted. While deciding if Mount Union is the right choice for her, Antonietta visited the campus. The campus was a dream for her. The university also provided her with the program she was interested in. After graduation, she attended the university with a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU, of which she's a part. They developed a close friendship. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to believe in herself and was deeply touched by his passion for journalism.
